§ 6.09. Public hearings.

A public hearing on the budget plan as a whole shall be held by the council within the time and after the notice provided for hearings on ordinances by section 4.10 of this Charter, except that the notice of such hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city. The second reading of the budget ordinances and the public hearing shall be not later than the first regular council meeting in May.
